Finally, a blog for guys written by a cool, understanding girl. I say finally as if I've been searching for one for years, but that is surely not the case. Honestly, I wouldn't know if there is one already or not, but if you were looking for one, you've stumbled to the right place.
I'm taking an "experimental writing" class that requires us to keep an updated blog. I thought for days about what my blog would be about because I knew I would have to make my first post soon. Then one day while I was at work, I witnessed a lady get very angry at her husband for barely glancing at another woman.
Now, let me explain the scene in more detail: The couple walked into the store smiling, holding hands, and exchanging small pecks on the cheeks. After walking around for a while, they went in separate directions. The husband was two aisles away from his wife, when a pretty lady walked into the aisle he was standing on. He was looking at laptops and I guess he saw one that he liked. He started looking around for his wife to show her, when the other woman just so happened to cross his line of sight. At that point, the wife was already standing at the other end of the aisle, watching.
"Baby, I was looking for you," the husband said. "I wanted to show you this computer." "You didn't find a computer, you found that [insert expletive]!" the wife coldly responded.
I couldn't believe the wife overreacted the way she did. But woman are notorious for overreacting (i.e. Britney Spears cutting off her hair over K-Fed). Something in me just wanted to walk up to the lady and tell her to chill out, but of course, I couldn't do that.
So I decided to write this blog for all of the guys that just don't understand why females are so crazy. One minute they love you and in the next four minutes, they want to chop your head off!
Oh, did I forget to mention, I'm a lesbian? So not only am I guilty of half of things I'll be telling you about, but being a girl and dating them gives me extra expertise in the field of lady lovin'. Fortunately for you though, I can admit when I'm wrong, and at the end of the day, I sit back and try to think of ways to do better.
Guys find it extremely easy to come to me for girl advice since I can relate to both the girl and the guy. I have to put up with all of the nagging, the attitudes and periods, and the "why were you texting her at 2 in the morning?" So trust me, I know how you feel.
I'll keep you posted on my crazy girl drama along with other domestic disputes that I hear of, or unfortunately witness; and, I'll explain who I feel was wrong, who was right, and why. More importantly, I'll try to explain why most females in the world are midly bipolar by nature, despite the lack of an actual clinical diagnosis.
Being an aspiring journalist has taught me to be fair and examine both sides of any situation, so you won't get blamed for anything around these parts, unless blame is due. And there's definitely no girl bashing going on either. I simply tell it how it is. But if you ever feel angered by anything I say, it's probably because you are guilty! So welcome to my blog and prepare to be educated, entertained, and maybe even excited sometimes (about learning, of course!)
